Carnaross Gaelic Football Club County Meath Ireland

Kit Morris - RIP

It is with great sadness that we’ve learned of the passing of Kit Morris on Wednesday 14th June 2017.

Kit played football with Carnaross with his career stretching from the mid-sixties to the early-eighties. He played with the club through the bad times when the team struggled and had to be picked from a very small group of players.  Kit played most of his football in the centre-back position, but was also known to line out at centre-field and centre-forward on occasions.  He captained the Carnaross team that beat Moynalvey in the League Final in 1975, the first victory at County level since 1957. Kit remained a great follower of the club throughout the years and was a supporter of all club activities, particularly putting his general knowledge to the test at our annual Table Quiz.

We extend our condolences to his family and wide circle of friends.
