Carnaross overcame O'Mahonys at the quarter-final stage at Dungany. With goalkeeper Michael Shaw pulling off fine saves at crucial times, Carnaross were able to mantain their advantage. Alex Carry and Peter Carpenter in the half-back line, Michael Brogan and HJ Muldoon at centrefield and Colm McDonagh and Pierce Fleming all worked hard in what was a great team display.

Carnaross overcame neighbours Ballinlough in the last minute of a tightly contested game. Colm McDonagh led the way with an impressive 1-8 while Alex Carry also done very well in defence.
