A young Carnaross team, fielding eight minors, proved to be no match for a lively Curraha side. The sides were level, 0-2 each, after five minutes with Richard Mulvey and Niall McDonnell hitting the target for Carnaross. Curraha then gained total control of the game scoring the next five points to lead 0-7 to 0-2 at the break despite playing against a strong breeze.

In the second-half it was all one way traffic with Curraha scoring 1-14 before Cillian Comaskey finished the scoring with a free at the end.
