Carnaross lost out to a strong Dunderry side in their opening League game. Carnaross got off to a good start and took an early lead through a Cormac Yore penalty and a Patrick McDermott point. Dunderry hit back and went on to score 2-9 before the break while Carnaross brought their half-time tally to 1-4.
Carnaross were much improved after the restart and restricted the Dunderry men to only two points in the second-half. However, Dunderry’s lead was too much of a hill to climb despite a determined effort from the home side.
