Are you a member of our new fundraising initiative?

As we prepare to start the new football season, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their continued support over the past season and beyond.

Over the past couple of years, we have been continually upgrading and improving our facilities. A notable example of this is the low-level lighting erected around our running track followed by the resurfacing of the track. We also recently erected lighting from the pedestrian gate to the track and resurfaced this area. However, no doubt the biggest development to our facilities has been the completion of our long awaited clubhouse extension. This fabulous facility will be a huge benefit to our ever expanding club and the wider community for generations to come.

Along with general improvement and maintenance works at the club grounds, our running costs are ever increasing. With increased membership numbers and participation levels, come higher running costs such as insurance cost, team preparations, training equipment, playing gear etc. Our juvenile teams are where we are seeing most of our expansion, with the number of boys and girls playing football for Carnaross GFC growing rapidly year on year. 2019 was also an historic year on the pitch with the formation of our Ladies section. Due to the huge interest we were able to field an adult team in our first year, something we didn't expect to achieve for a few years.

With all this in mind, we are continuing with our membership fundraising model for the year ahead. ‘Friends of Carnaross GFC’ is run as a monthly draw. Entering the draw will require a contribution of €20 per month. There will be 5 monthly prizes of €250, €125, €100, €75 & € 50. ‘Friends of Carnaross GFC’ will run for a 12-draw period.

There are 2 options available to enter the draw.

• Option 1 is a monthly contribution of €20 by standing order, where €20 will be debited from your account on a date of each month of your choosing (Standing order form enclosed) which brings a total contribution of €240 for the 12 draw cycle.
• Option 2 is to make a once-off contribution upfront. A contribution of €240 will gain entry to 12 draws.

Included in your entry fee to the ‘Friends of Carnaross GFC’ draw, whether you choose option 1 or 2, is your annual membership fee. This includes all our membership options (Family, Individual, Player and Student).

If you are unable to enter our new draw, you can still pay your annual membership fee in the usual way.

The continued growth and success of our club is dependent upon the hard work and generous support of our members and wider community and we sincerely hope you can join us in becoming a ‘Friend of Carnaross GFC’
