Having played in many fields around the Carnaross area down through the years, we obtained our current grounds, Páirc Naomh Chiarán in 1984. On 7th May 1989, they were officially opened by Club Chairman, Aiden Gillic and County Chairman, Fintan Ginnity. To mark the occasion Meath played neighbours Cavan in a senior football challenge, with victory going to the Royal County on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-5, before a massive attendance of over 5,000.
In recent years, we completed a development which included levelling of the playing pitch, provision of a running track around the pitch and the installation of floodlights. This hard work was rewarded when we received "Club Grounds of the Year" for 2009 by the Meath County Board. Due to the growing numbers at underage level and the increasing demands on our pitch, we have also purchased land adjoining our grounds and are currently planning to develop this into a second playing/training pitch. We hope you will support us in our fundraising efforts as we aim to improve our facilities for the future.
