The home side were dominant throughout and established an early lead with Cormac Yore and Peter Mullan combining for the first 5 points. Shane Yore put further daylight between the teams with a well taken goal before Padraig O’Connor rounded off the scoring.
On the other end, the Carnaross defence remained vigilant during the opening half holding the visitors to a single point to take a 1-6 to 0-1 lead at the break.
Carnaross were forced to make two substitutions in the second half with Cian Yore receiving a blow to the head and Cormac Sheridan sustained a shoulder injury. However, Carnaross maintained control of the game and kept the scoreboard ticking over with Cormac Yore adding three points to take his tally to an impressive 6 points.
